| Event Details | Art on the Fox Fine Art Show is held annually in downtown Algonquin, Illinois along the banks of the Fox River. Celebrating its 9th year in June of 2016, this Fathers Day Weekend show attracts artists and attendees throughout the Midwest. Algonquin, Illinois is a charming, affluent community located 30 miles Northwest of Chicago and is home to a vast amount of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Produced by the Village of Algonquin and the Algonquin Public Arts Commission, the art show is just one example of public art that is showcased in the community. |

| Reception Details | The reception has a NEW LOCATION and SPONSOR!!! Please join the Algonquin Public Arts Commission along with your fellow artists at the Art on the Fox reception. Reception will start at 6pm allowing artists a chance to close up booths. The Best In Show prizes will be announced at the reception, which will include complimentary appetizers and cash bar. Awards Reception is invite only please. Carlos Tequila Grill is located in the heart of Downtown Algonquin. This restaurant is a family owned business with generations of recipes passed down. Carlos has an excellent offering of some of the best authentic Mexican food you can find in the small suburbs of Algonquin. From home made chips, salsa, dessert, tamales and other assortment of original recipes. Dedicated to their quality service and warm welcome from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. |
